Match a reference style
Bring the subject you want to keep and a separate image for inspiration. Explore its colors, textures and lighting in your own composition.
Your subject. Your inspiration.
Use the first photo for the subject and the second for its palette, texture and visual style.

Image 1 supplies the subject and composition. Choose a clear photo of something you want to keep recognizable.
- 02
Add the style second
Image 2 supplies the palette, medium, texture and light. Use an image you have permission to use.
- 03
Refine and review
Add a note about the qualities you want to borrow. Check how the result interprets both images before saving.
Before you begin.
Which image goes first?
Upload your subject first and the style reference second. Their order controls which subject to preserve and which visual qualities to borrow.
Will it copy the person in my style image?
The recipe asks to preserve the subject from image 1 and use image 2 only for style. Always inspect the output because an exact identity match is not guaranteed.
What does a generation include?
One run creates one JPEG image for 10 credits. Choose square, portrait or landscape. Another version is a new generation with a new charge. If generation fails or the image is blocked by a safety check, the reserved credits are returned.
Are my photos public?
Your photos and results are private to your account. They are processed to create and safety-check your image, and are not published in a public gallery. Read our privacy page for service providers and retention details.
